This Chick Read: Bay of Sighs (Guardians Trilogy #2) by Nora Roberts

As I read the first novel Stars of Fortune, I was eager to read book #2.  Not that the first novel was bad, it wasn’t!  However, I felt like Nora Roberts had done some other variations of those two characters before, but Annika and Sawyer were unique.  Bay of Sighs is their story, and we get to know the back story of how a mermaid and time traveler become a part of this group, and what each of them brings to the table to keep the evil witch from gaining the star that they are trying to find and hide from her. This Chick Read: The Obsession by Nora Roberts

Morrigan’s Cross is the first book in Nora Roberts Circle Trilogy.  This book was first published in August of 2006, and was just reissued in January 2016.  Apparently I must have been living in a hole in the ground because I’ve never read this series!  As with most of Ms. Roberts trilogy’s, this storyline has a good versus evil theme.  Six people, of mixed backgrounds join together, using their various abilities, magical and warrior, to become a unit with the purpose of saving mankind from the evil Lilith.   Continue reading “This Chick Read: Morrigan’s Cross by Nora Roberts” →

This Chick Read: The Guardians Trilogy or Cousins O’Dwyer?

Is it just me, or does Nora Roberts new novel Stars of Fortune: Book one of the Guardians Trilogy seem very similar to her Cousins O’Dwyer Trilogy? This Chick Read: My first book on the blog

I typically only read a book if I think it’s not too serious, won’t give me nightmares, and has a little action.  I read a little bit of everything, though lean more towards romance than any other genre.  I blame my older sister for starting my romance addiction at the relatively young age of 16.  I went to visit her at college and would stay up until 2 am reading Silhouette romances.   Continue reading “This Chick Read: My first book on the blog” →
