In Return to the Little French Guesthouse we follow Emmy who has returned to France to be the Manager of La Cour des Roses, the bed and breakfast where the first novel The Little French Guesthouse was set. After Emmy ‘s boyfriend slept with the owner’s wife Gloria,she was well on her way to the realization that her life had become pretty dismal.
