I fell in love with the Winston brothers while reading Truth or Beard, the first book in this series. These boys have southern charm, southern names, and an aw shucks intelligence that reels you in. Oh and they all have beards. Hence the clever titles of their books. Grin and Beard it is the story of Jethro and how he falls for Sienna Diaz, a movie star who he has never seen nor heard of, dropped into his small town to film a movie. First- I love this title! Truth or Beard is an obvious play on words, and the characters do, at one point play truth or dare. More interestingly, Duane, the male protagonist, has a bushy beard. I can only think of one other romance book I’ve read where the man has a beard, and I loved that book too! Hmmm, something to think about anyway… Back to the book.
