This Chick Read: All In by Simona Ahrnstedt

All In is the first foreign language romance novel to be translated and published in America.  As the first, it is a huge event in the publishing world, and every eye will be on how the American reader world reacts to this novel.  I can’t speak for the entire American population, only for myself, but if I needed to describe how I felt while reading this novel I would say I was fascinated, riveted, stunned, emotional, horrified, enraptured and involved. Review:

When I read the synopsis for this book, I thought, ok, hasn’t this topic been done already? But, as I read the book, I realized, that while there is one similarity to The Selection by Kiera Cass, this book takes that general idea, and enhances it a thousand fold. This Chick Read: Shut Out: A Bayard Hockey novel by Kelly Jamieson

Kelly Jamieson’s first book in the Bayard Hockey series has a great story, relatable characters, and delivers a serious mhessage. Shut Out is not your typical sex with puck bunnies kind of storyline ( yes, they really call them puck bunnies).  There was a lot of action, both on and off the ice, but the author’s storyline about consensual sex, gave this novel a very serious subject. This Chick Read: Wicked Burn (Realm Enforcers #3) by Rebecca Zanetti

Rebecca Zanetti’s bio on Amazon says she wasn’t finished with the Dark Protectors series, so she created the Realm Enforces series, to continue some of these characters storylines. Thank Goodness for that! Zanetti created a world in the Dark Protectors series that had good Vampires and bad Vampires, a war, some psychics, shifters and witches, OH My!  I, along with the rest of the paranormal loving, reader universe ate these books up, Continue reading “This Chick Read: Wicked Burn (Realm Enforcers #3) by Rebecca Zanetti”
