Deadly Silence has an original start. The two main characters, Ryker and Zara, are already in the midst of an affair.  They don’t actually know that much about each other, having declared it a casual relationship. However, Ryker, showing up at Zara’s house for dinner finds her with a bruised face, and all of a sudden, this affair is no longer casual, it gets really serious, really fast.
